i installed a 03 C15 into a truck and it starts and runs and everything except its throwing a check engine light for Primary engine speed 190-12. The engine is an MBN (to my knowledge), and doesnt have the crankshaft speed sensor near the bottom on the front cover, only has the sensor behind the cam gear. is there a way to either bypass that signal or delete it from the computer some how?

Are you reading that code off a laptop
Or just manually determining by dash flashes??

If it's a MBN (or any 70pin for that matter) It will have a crank sensor, if it doesn't even have the spot for the crank sensor on the lower left of the front cover it must be a motor that has been pieced together from an assortment of parts right or wrong at some point.
It will run fine without seeing the crank signal, only way to get rid of the code is to have a crank sensor.

    Goodysnap Thanks this.
