So many factors go into mpg but with a big block Cat you're not going to do too much better. Just raise your rates to cover the fuel.

 

E model can still be a 15 or 16 can't it?

 

5DS and 1MM are 15.8L 3406E. 7CZ is a C-16. Never was a C16.

 

I guess technically because they're all electronic, yes. But most people know the 3406E as the, "E Model". It was the first non-mechanical big block Cat.

 

Unless you count the PEEC. That was an oddball. Electronically controlled pump IIRC.

 

Oh, yeah! I forgot about that. The middle step from mechanical to the jump to electronic. Personally, I'm looking to step back to a B Model with a massive P pump.

 

Whatever you do, do not buy it off of snake oil salesman Rick from Great Lakes. I enjoyed laughing in his face when heard him pushing his BS a couple years ago in Louisville at MATS.
