    In peices and sections :)just like kennecott is pulling their stuff out to build a new backhoe. In peices. i do know of one heavy haul though. So i dont know.

    Why do people keep referring to "bridge law" when they are talking about 53' tandem setting? it is NOT the bridge law.

    Because saying "CA Bridge law" is easier than saying "The regulation pertaining to kingpin to axle maximum length in a tractor trailer while operating in California due to DOT and provisions of the California Toll Bridge Authority Act."

    Depends on axle spacing, but your typical NW triaxle setup won't get you much more than a 10' spread axle:

    Yes, Bridge law is something different. It governs how close the tandems can be, not how far apart.

    So in CA the entire tandem has to be forward of the 40' mark, as opposed to measuring to the center?
