Ive said it before. Im perfectly willing to haul to cali so long as they are willing to meet my "this state is BS" rate. $55,000 a mile and ill haul anything you want to cali.

In all seriousness though a "we are sowwy, be our fwiend again pwease?" Wont get me to come back after decades of them going full on jack the ####ing ripper mixed with jason and texas chainsaw massacure on pretty much everything i can think of. Let the state starve and burn for all i care.

Funny how inspection standards get loose when grocery store shelves are empty I guess I’ll just keep polluting everywhere else but there

Haven't been back to CA since 2015. Last time I was anywhere near there in a semi was 2012. Sounds like the same song and dance with everything out that way. How anyone can afford to live out there without having to roommate with 4-10 people in a tiny apartment and deal with lice or disease(I was always wary of living with other people long before the current state of public health affairs). I could see anyone with a STEM related degree, or one of those high paying, blue-collar, crane operating jobs getting by quite fine. But everyone else seems to be paycheck to paycheck.

But that's coastal and urban living. I guess one could always live in the cheaper desert or distant woods out there. But once your car/truck breaks down, you too are porked.

Should have told them all you had was a metric tape measure and rounded up on the conversion table! Lol

California is one of the easiest places to pass inspection...if you want scrutiny come to the northwest

IDK, I run in Cally often. Never had a problem. Actually, got pulled through 2 weight stations along I-5 and rolled right through. As soon as I reach the Oregon P.O.E. pulled through the weight station and was 1600 lbs over on my tandems.
My only complaint about Cally is they have alot of poor quality roads in my opinion.

The one time I was inspected in CA last year, the cop was actually quite pleasant. I was heading to Spokane and he was chatting about moving there when he retired. Nothing at all like I have heard about CHP and CA weigh stations

If California inspected the one's with California plates, there'd be no trucks or trailers with California plates.

    kemosabi49 and WesternPlains Thank this.
