perhaps they don't have it in the regular iowa80.com but I know when I was over there at Joplin a couple of weeks ago they had a few selections there.. Walmart has a good one made by thetford. perhaps the Walcott Iowa 80 group doesn't put every single thing they have in their stores online or in the catalog I'm not really too sure but I seen it just over a Joplin a couple weeks back...but I definitely know maybe this is the same thing you can get at Walmart but the company name is definitely thetford portable travel toilet.
but pretty much anything that's camping related for a RV small RV or something like that works really good if you go and see if we put in thetford portable toilet and look at either the Walmart ones or the ones in Amazon you can read the reviews and judge for yourself. they've come a long way from even 10 years ago. but just remember you pay for quality..
that being said there are some that are hard to clean and some that do definitely stink but again that's where the money comes into play and how much you want to spend camping world has some good ones and thetford definitely has great strong reviews but then again if you want to spend 10 or 20 bucks you're going to get 10 or 20 bucks worth of quality.. and you don't have to use it all the time it's just nice to have that convenience especially if you get to a receiver and they said here's your outhouse and it's a downpour and you got to put a towel on your head to stay dry lol.
but again like any kind of her purchase do your homework don't just buy on impulse read the reviews read what people have experienced because they do go both ways in favor and not in favour but there are some where you pay a little bit more money that definitely have very positive reviews but you also have to make sure you take the proper steps that the company recommends to clean it and sanitized at the proper way many people don't do that either and then they run in the problems you tried to shortcut there's a reason they tell you to do it this way.

 

yep exactly that for one of them tonight's thing about the Walmart and the Amazon online before you buy, read the reviews.
look at some of the cheaper stuff and read the reviews and be like yeah that's what I figured... some people use them all the time because they just prefer privacy vs walking into a truck stop.
I think it's just nice for an emergency late at night safety or if you're just in some place where you know the bathrooms going to be a pigsty it's easier.. Although nothing worse than having to sit in an outhouse at a customer if 10 below zero
and you hope your butt cheeks don't do like a telephone pole with the tongue and freeze to seat LOL...
and the one you showed is a good quality one but once again you have to make sure that you follow the directions as far as keeping it clean and sanitized and there's pretty much literally no odor..

 

I'm by myself, and I have one of these..... Cat litter works awesome. Takes no space as far as I'm concerned. Something to think about. $20 bucks

 

It should be fine in the wilderness or in the desert or where ever, but where people travel and literally right on the side of the road is a not a good idea.

Also remember people back in the Middle Ages used piss to clean clothes but you don’t see people in a jam doing it.

 

Or if you are ever in San Francisco, You always have the Street as your restroom!

My homemade version is better, Lol. Got the idea from that one!!! It is what it is. Most folks couldn’t make it today, like my Grandparents. Outhouses, slop jars, wood burning stoves. Manual well. Candles. Fireplace, wash boards. Root cellar, ice refrigerator, meat stored in lard and buried in the ground. Smokehouse. Ringing chickens neck one handed. Lol Oh the good ole days.

 

My Mom, 80 years old, recalls her mom buying chicks.... my mom would "play" with them... what, no XBox!
She'd name them and whatever,,,, than came the time for family dinner.... My grandma would go out and catch a bird, and "wring its neck".... Mom was horrified! BUT.... she does admit today, it was a ###### tasty bird...lol

 

Though I am glad I don't wipe my rear with the SEARS Catalog!! In the outhouse on a freezing January Night in Detroit!
