Cab over heater control valve

    I have a 1979 Freightliner Cab over. I cannot figure out where the valve is in line for the heater. From the lever in the cab the cable goes somewhere to open and close the valve but the cable is stuck and I cannot seem to track down where it goes does anyone know where I might look to manually switch it?

    There should be a valve right near heater core somewhere. Otherwise shut off valve from water pump under hood. If you don’t have shut off valves from water pump for heater hoses, install some.
