Use to see a lot of smaller Canadian companies running up and down 87 with some real sharp ones all the time. Seemed like all of the sudden one day they were all gone.

If you don't mind being cramped an being the first person at the accident scene then go for it. Lol. The only set back I can think of will be fuel mileage.

Actually they say not, a cabover breaks the wind once.Orangees Thanks this.

I saw one of those fancy European COEs running up I-75 just below Knoxville last week. I'm not real familiar with European truck makes, so I couldn't tell you what brand it was. It was pulling a 53' van, but it was going the opposite direction so I couldn't see the company name or city/state of origin (I remember thinking it might be Canadian). Very cool looking, not something you see everyday, so it really stood out. I don't know what kind of red tape and/or engine and safety mods would be required to import a European truck, but if that guy could do it than I guess others could too.

I see an o/o cab over stretched, paint job, lights front to back hauling a siht tanker (I think) quite frequently by me. He's got a sweet set up and I love seeing his Peter haha. It's possible to do it.

The euro trucks are usually imported as gliders I believe.

Definitely seeing more. There's a few that I see running 81 regular, stretched out customs, pulling reefers and flats. I drove a Pete 362 for about 2 weeks, loved that sucker. Nearly as much as my ol 359.
Dominick253 and MJ1657 Thank this. -
I think the newer Argosy's have a heavy European influence in their design. Kind of resemble a Mercedes-Benz.

May have been a Volvo. A year or two back I read about a Canadian fleet that was testing them for a long trailer operation... Maybe the driver got lost and wound up down here.
