My 1979 KW K100 with the BC1, RTO12513, SQHD 3:70's is still sitting in my driveway after I bought my Pete. I can't seem to part away from it. Had offers that were a joke. So decided to keep it.

It still runs. When I was running it until I parked it, I kept every part in it OEM. At times I had to wait for parts from the dealer. Every single knob and switch works in it, including the A/C.

    OLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this.

I started out in a 73 K100 like @Diesel Dave has. 335 Cummins. Bought it and a 42' spread axle flat with a side kit. No A/C & no power steering but loved it. Later on ended up in a 73 Shaker, 79 K100, 76 352 Patriot, 81 Shaker, 83 362, 78 K100 Aerodyne, 87 & 88 K100 both with 365 Cummins, 79 Transtar II. Don't know any reason why a person could not make a living with one, need to practice putting your britches on laying down though..... LOL.

My 362 has the 3406 400 A model. Still runs great. I just don't push on her hard. Is it a a good idea to run a little Transmision fluid in the fuel.

Straight Stacks and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this.

That's what my mechanic told me. That it'll help clean the injectors. I haven't tried it yet. Figured it was a old wives tale

Diesel Dave and Old school 362 Thank this.
