Not very good considering your sitting right on the front tires

True enough but why couldn't an air ride steer axle be installed, along with 4 corner air ride like the Euro cabovers apparently have? I'm sure that'd be a much better ride than leaf springs and solid mounted/rear cab air ride only.

I couldn't agree more. I loved them ever since my dad bought one to put the engine from it in his dump truck. So cool riding down the road in the back as an eight year old. I'd seriously consider a K200 if they brought them over here... and I was looking for a new truck.

I burned my life out on the #### cabovers. I have no desire to run them. Even today my last truck for over the road happened to be a 84 international cabover that was well maintained and limited with no jake and no space whatsoever to work with.

Im happy never to see or touch another cabover again. Keep in mind getting into tight places was not the only reason for them. Length and weight was a factor back in the 70's and 80's which make the cabover a truck of choice rather than a conventional.

You can keep your back. Mine is gone with proven bone loss from T1 through T12 partly from the wear and tear of the older equiptment over the years among other things. That kind of bone loss is rare in the 50's age group and not expected until late 70's for most people in life.

For all you cabover freaks this is one way you can get one in the U.S.. They only order them like this because they pull 57' trailers.

Those low cabovers are typically seen with trash bodies on them, hereabouts. Also Mack MR's, and a few other similar critters. I'd like to score one like this pictured Pete, myself. Make a low-clearance special for pulling a step deck.

My current Employer has a brand new Kenworth Cabover with a Pacaar and just ordered two Hino Cabovers. We use them for Heating fuel delivery. Awesome trucks. Turn on a dime and give you a lot of extra room in tight spots
