    They call it "Cabbage Hill"because from the sky it looks like heads of cabbage or the other rumour that several years ago a trailer of cabbage "smoked brakes" totally dumped a load of cabbage going down the pass.Reportedly rotting cabbage everywhere for weeks.Its also called Meacham Pass.Some call it "Dead Mans Pass".Its located barely East of Pendleton Oregon on I84.It can be very "Gnarly" in the winter.

    My mom used to regularly grill up (slight burn) sliced Kielbasa sausage in a large pan, then add in some sauerkraut and grill them real good (just browned) and serve with pan-fried potatoes (browned well) and spicy brown mustard ... mmmmm good. The secret is getting just the right amount of "burn/brown" on everything
