Did it when I first started. No. I would not do it again. Although it would probably be good for my health. I lost over 25 pounds in the 4 months I spent in a COE.
Sometimes a cabover would be a ray of sunshine were i have to drive.I dont know if this is fact or not but i hear some companies out west still run cabovers. Thoes old argosrys were nice and thoes internatinal eagles were good ones
We have a cabover 4 wd old air force fire truck. I will avoid climbing into that sucker anytime I can.
Well,d o g, looks like the oldhands are hijacking you thread.I love the truck I have now but would trade in a heartbeat for a comparably valued 352 or 362 fatcab,pre-84 KW or International9670 big bunks.Would also take aTranstar or Emeryville.Broke my back on a motorcycle years ago and I hurt less riding in a cabover.Might hurt when my old ##### falls trying to climb in.
Do you mean cab overs like these or did you have the old ones in mind? "Some" of my "pay your dues" trucks and my co-driver who could jump up in a cabin-over in one flying leap. I would do it again - but I sure am hoping I don't have to pay those kind of dues again!
Amazing how some of the negative comments are from those with ZERO experience....they just haven't lived! Give me a long wheel base cabover any day of the week!
I wouldn't mind running one as long as it pulled hard and stopped when I told it to. That alone would beat out my current wuss of a truck.
