Is that why you're driving truck rather than responding to medicals in peoples homes where they smoke?

    One of the reasons.

They also smoked in the ambulances on the way to the calls and in the building.

You know the condition you have with joints?

Mine are getting bad as well.

I guess a smoking Mentor could refrain from smoking in the truck for 6 weeks to make his extra $$

It's as much a medical issue as a preference. I have some minor lung issues because I use'd to smoke--- alot. Sinus problems, allergys---- no I could not tolerate being in the cab with a smoker for a day, much less 6 weeks. And I'm still sitting at home because of it. BUT--- Merry Christmas to All.... May the Love of Christ fill your life with Peace and Joy.

In another thread, you said you don't drive for Swift any more. How long has it been since you drove for Swift? Are you working in the shop now?

I believe that he has taken a management type position within the flatbed division of Swift.

Yep I still work for swift I got a desk job of sorts. I do flatbed equipment and tractor assignment. Kind of interesting I track all of our flatbed trucks across the company, get trailers refurbished ,order all the equipment for all the terminals, do flatbed transloads, fix stuff its a cool job but i'm itching more and more to go back on the road

    Injun Thanks this.

I ran all 48 in my 83 Mack Cruiseliner, I would still choose a C/O if I could.

I drove a c/O around a buddies yard and they are kinda cool. You feel like your in a ####pit. But I couldn't imagine trying to live out of one of those.
