really Tatara Chassis is good for dump trucking. No frame twist problem. really it is good thet Tatra joined Paccar. They had no new emission engine, no modern cabin. Now all these things are available.

Yep, it is bad problem with uneven tire wear, but with ECAS I'd say problem is solved. This is really unique truck. IMO, better for construcktion then any classical solution.

 

Just would have been better with a different engine!

but what cat means? even if it is worlds best engine it is nothing here you need engine which is spread on market which daf is....

you need to comply some norms currently euro5 ,tatra had euro 5 on their own air cooled v8 engine without any electronics but no one wants to buy it anymore

 

The 08 us emissions drove cat out of the truck engine market! Dpf was not ready! Now dpf and def together has been a million times more reliable! Cat is marketing their own truck now but its a international based truck with cats trim package.

TATRA it's not a subsidiary company of PACCAR!!!!!
Tatra owns the majority of stock and all assets of Tatra company. Also the Czech gov has stock and the Tatra company is held as a strategic interest of the Czech Republic.

The Tatra Phoenix model is a civilian operation only truck and marketed as such, manufactured under the Tatra badge in collaboration with PACCAR.

Dont forget that TATRA is mainly a manufacturer of tactical high mobility vehicles and armored, ordinance deployment vehicles destined exclusively for military operations. Thus the national strategic interests.

So, stop with this nonsense that TATRA is PACCAR. It is utterly and completely false!
