Nice unit, where's the 2500L fuel tanks and kangaroo bar?

 

It would be a east coast highway truck, bullbar and fuel capacity not needed, but would still hold about 1200L

 

I sugest this is one of most beloved cabovers in Lugansk, Ukraine.

Engine D13 500HP, tranny AT2612 I-shift, all disk brakes, EBS.

Truck under repare with tranny problems. They use this truck with heavy dump trailes, so any transmission goes bad)

 

so fast? so bad driver?

how much tons they haul with it

how much km and did it do local job or haul on longer routes lets say over 30km

what kind of terrain you have in your area? mud?

each gearbox should last 15years even on the toughest jobs

 

only thing i dont like on ishift is because it is too fast ( small overall ratio only 14.94:1 , for me is interesting volvo gearbox vt2514 overdrive with crawler from direct drive gearbox so it gives you 16.41-0.8:1

it burn clutch easy if conditions are mud overloads .....

 

60-80 ton in trailer. They destroy trucks, we fix, they destroy....

 

very controversial design,its like it or hate it,there is no middle way and they choose your country for official leak images , thats good(great landscapes) !
wonder if this cab carcass will end up in NA version

but what kind of terrain is this? how much off road that is what kills transmission

btw i dont remember did i ever seen volvo fh with short cab


here only small number of volvo trucks are fm with short cab ( like tippers and crane trucks-maybe 50trucks), only small number of fm with sleeper cab (i think about 20 car carriers)

no fh with short cab at all , no fh with low sleeper at all last one i was was first generation fh380)

so all sales are l2h2 and l2h3

 

they use it in fields to tow trailers with sand and clay. They use 3.5" fifth wheels.


Problem of transmission - broken shift piston. On terrain they have to shift too many times. Internal tranny damage is related with towing



Trucks are used by brick manufacter, Red Ray (funny town name), Ukraine. My old shaker moves bricks to Russia.....
