for me it looks good , but there is something missing on daf at least for me, they dont have something recognizable it is like truck without heritage , like they just appear on market,
when i look at it looks like you take mp3 headlight, part of scania grille and cab corners and put it together with daf105 -
it looks to me like an unsucessfull inbreeding between a dongfeng(or any other chinese makes)and an old 95 cab(the same sh*ty visibility even with door windows pillars removed),you are right there is no design continuation in it ,you cant tell from far its an DAF
instead of looking for inspiration from old dafs they incorporated some faceless asiatic features -
Yeah it does look better however the rest of the cab inside Still looks dated although the materials are hard wearing and pretty well screwed together, I see those stupid fly windows are still on them, stupid things when they get dirty you can't see the passenger side mirrors properly
Apologies, looks like the fly windows are gone, at last, only took 24 years?Last edited: Sep 18, 2012

Yeah they are very blind, many a car has been sideswiped with them cos drivers missed them due to the poor passenger side visibility, looks like the bottom of a p series Scania grille slapped onto the front of a new Volvo and welded to an xf cab -
Scania Man , at least the engine is designed for 1,6 million KM so that should restore your faith !!!

Hahahahahahahahahahaha that's a good one!
-
I think that's a misprint in the article you were reading, it's 1.6m meters
jonboy29 Thanks this. -
on old one they were talking that it was designed for lifespan of 15 services each 100 000km
-
That worked out well, alot of them barely made the second, I'd say none made the 15, only ever seen one to make a million and it was fecked, the owner used say "if there's no oil under it there's no oil in it"
