    Neat looking.
I bought one of those about 2 months ago.
It has the high rise sleeper.
    N14c plus ad 18sp.
Non of my drivers want to drive it.
They say it has no space , poor viability,is noisy , bumpy and basically a poor excuse for a truck.
I didn't believe them so I took it for a drive.
I have not driven full time for about 16 years and even then my truck was a20 year old COE so I did not find it that bad.
I did think the viability was terrible as my 1973 f series Mack had way better viability.

You should fire every one of then who doesnt like cabovers. Tell them you wanted real truck drivers and not steerin wheel holder puss!es. I absolutely love my truck and will absolutely not let anyone else drive it. Mine is a '98 w/N14@ 525HP, 18spd, 46k rears n a 190" WB. A lil choppy at times but I dont mind at all...

CbarM,i think you don't get that King Q drivers have COE's.
It is the pictured one they don't like.

This is KAMAZ. Very popular truck in 80-s, really this is first successful cabover in USSR. As driver I gonna hate this truck for small, noisy and low cabin. But really many these trucks keep running on road.

Now this cab was restyled but so bad as I think. But KAMAZ keep it on conveyer. Powertrain.... now engine is usually Cummins (from ISB to ISX with DEF), tranny - generally ZF.

You are correct , all my trucks are COE.
This Freightliner is just way behind the ones we have when it comes to ergonomics , comfort and visibility.
The later model that is extremely popular here is streets ahead of this one but still not like an European COE.
I would put it on par with the Japanese COE trucks for comfort.

My drivers will drive it , they just don't want to.
    They have just been spoilt.
Had I been given it when I drove I would have been happy.
The short drive I did in it (bobtail) was fine for me.
It just has some real shortcomings for the driver and real bad visibility.
Nothing a good driver cant work around in a heartbeat.
I wont buy another but I do think the one pictured looks good and if you are happy with one then all is good.
They have a good reliability reputation.
If you could try a good European COE you would know what I was on about.

my favorite setup , 2axle truck and 3axle drawbar trailer with 3side tipper bodies, they are suitable for all kind of loads , mostly grain korn and similar , bulk loads

but can load gravel sand and crushed rocks as well , also general paletised load, this one is not full height which is also specific to our region ,this save weight fuel , make unloadin easier under low roofs and loading with wheelloader easier , but also because of strong winds here

i love those trucks because i grown up with them , today they are almost extinct because they are expensive , heavier than tractor with short rear tipper semitrailer, today many dont know how to drive them, also roads are improved so they are no longer needed for serpentines and tight roads....since transport is today not profitable and driver was driver not slave, like before so they remind me to better times

this one is 2012 , catch it 3days ago in front of truck restaurant
