Actros 6x4 hub reduction , V6 with teligent (I think its called) Euro 3.
-
40 euro 3 2005? something is strange , there should not be 2005 mp1 , mp2-3 with 40 are all i have seen so far e2
-
I will check.
I'm going off what the auctioneers said and what the invoice reads.
It is a 2640 Actros that I know.
Km seem low for 9 year old truck but if belonged to engineering company and had a 80km rout it traveled mostly only once a day so I know this is about right.
Euro 2 is a possibility.
Do you know if there is something in the engine number that will give this info? -
i am not sure in this , it was pretty large when you see how big engine at that time was for that power, and when you see today funny engines which take this nominal power from 7L displacement-although they pull weak
but it is pretty light in weight , i dont remember specific weight of engine , but it is not that much,
however when mercedes released om471(DD13) , i was trying to find latest V engine with as much power/displacement as could find.and found out that om444LA with V12 layout and 22L have same dry weight as 471 very interesting to me
when compare dead weight of old trucks with today, example father had 2626K with empty weight of 10080kg-aluminium sideboards , and man 26280dfk with 10100-steel today it is hard to find 3axle tipper below 12t -
2012 K200 where do you find the fuse that turns dome light and outside step lights when door opens (also it blows horn when door is opened) (interior dome light works just not the "door open" dome light)
-
really K200 is XF105 with Cummins engine. so dome light and step light is controlled by VIC-2 unit, no fuse, "smart" MOSFET BTS series by Infeneon, with internal current protection
oztindog Thanks this. -
Thanks, Ill get our workshops onto it.... since its not just a fuse, no point hunting for it ..
-
what is an XF105? is that a DAF?
-
Yes , Below is a picture but I did not know the K200 was related other then that they are both Paccar products.
I don't like the look of the K200 but it may be that I am not used to it.
I think it is the plastic looking grill.
