I am in the process of buying a 92 Kenworth K-100. It has a 470 detroit with a 10 speed spicer and 3.08 rears. The truck has been sitting for 3 years and will need new batteries and tires plus a good service. I think that not having a payment will outweigh having to put my pants on laying down and taking my boots off through the steering wheel.

Depends on the length of the trailer.

Had that driver set himself up a little better he would of made that corner easier.

    Donk Thanks this.

yes this is true that kind of trailer is 13.6m long ~45ft

problem is to pass corner better in this traffic mess but anyway for this situation drawbar combination is best one, you dont even need to look at mirrors

I don't see a american semi do that. Than they have to cut the trailer in half.

European trucktor cant do it with US trailer. I used to tow 48' US trailer with MAN F2000 and sometimes I had some problems in sharp turns. The problem is not in lenth, but in axe location.

US trucktor with EU trailer is better to manevor then EU trucktor with US trailer.

But there are B-double trailers and they are really easy for turns I see on vedeo. My friend gor Hundai b-double from USA and he tows it with Scania of COE design.... it is better then combo
