I like Mercedes Actros Megaspace becouse they used V-designed engines, not so tall as in line engines and it is a good combination of flat floor in cabine and not so high from ground like in Renault Magnum ore Argosy. But... unfortunatly Mercedes will dicontinue V6 and V8 soon to introduce global class 8 trucks engines (as I know OM471 and DT15 will be used only). That's why MP4 will be like all other COE trucks.

About the safety. Yeah, to make COE truck safe European makers build cabins of steel. Cabines are heavier US cabines, but there is no way to make them safe enought. Old US cabover is very dangerouse in accidents, especially roll over accidents. I saw rolled over FLA. Cabine was ruined, how did driver survive, it was impossible, but boken ribs.... we changed cabine with international cabin (some welding fun, LOL). Frame, engine and suspention were not damaged.

Newer EU cabines are much better.

well, I understand all advantages of COE truck, but I wanna be in 60-100" from my front bumper.

    Scania sells COE's in Mexico.

It should have said K model, not B model. These #### touch screen phones are a pain in the ###. It was a K125 and I'll see if I can get some pics of it from the owner.

I do not like trucks... EU COE are more advanced.

But as operators say US COE trucks are cheapper to fix and maintane.

Well, looking at US COE I like International 9800 and Argosy.

Even if you could import a Scania into the US, would you really want to? Proprietary parts, which you'd almost always have to get imported, not to mention the woes you'll go through finding someone to service them.
