Imagine if all new trucks would have the euro engine calibration an get an average fuel economy at a minimum 8mi/gallon and the idiots would shut the f n engine off while parked. You'd create such a diesel surplus to the point where the oil companies won't be able to justify $4.5 /gallon anymore........and actually be able to breathe the air in and around the truckstops.....and get a good night sleep without the infernal noise of engine rumble and cooling fans cutting in and out all night long.

volvo is too soft best i tried yet is on daf ,man is not bad since it is thin
did you try scania extendable one? it should be at least simplier than last one -
here you cant buy mercedes 6x4 without ones except axor which is not considered as truck here , but looks like mercedes will offer hypoid axles on new actros
are they kessler? -
how they get in winter
i ask because premium have this stupid way of idling at 900rpm until it become warm and get air ? that use too much fuel -
we have here more weight reserves dont need to care that much how to load truck in my country total weight is 40t (88200lbs) truck can be18t 39700lbs and trailer 52900 so to miss that and load it wrong you really must be idiot
company trailer schmitz build system which can release air pressure on trailer axles to shift weight to or from truck -
can you put picture of truck and body i would like to see how this looks like in US we use such systems as well -
I think it will have to go that eventually, diesel prices are soaring over $10 a gallon here now , if the middle east kicks off again you will see fuel prices skyrocket overnight!InTranzit Thanks this.

Yea, why would the DOT make things easier over here?
They don't know how to complicate things in order to find more ways to get into your pockets. Just the darn hours of service rules are a good example of ways to make things so complicated that if they screw with it some more (which they seem to continue almost on monthly basis) you'd need a 4 year college education in advanced math just in order to comply. They're pushing for EOBR (on board recorders) kinda like the ones you have over there but in many ways different. After the initial cost of installation there will be a monthly charge because these here are GPS systems with direct uplink via satellite (Qualcomm).....they wanna monitor everything even when you take a leak.......I think they wanna know if your fart goes over the maximum threshold of bad odor allowed........really.....complete invasion of privacy cause we basically live in these trucks. I think that the next step will be video cams inside the cab cose they probably are interested to know if and how often you beet it in the sleeper. "$300 fine....you missed a beet there...."
God forbid if you carry any alcoholic beverage just to have a drink when off duty or to have a shot before you go to bed at night. They'll arrest you, cancel your license and throw you under the jail and poore concrete in top of the holle. I agree completely 1000% with not drinking and driving, but you're not allowed to even have a drink and go to the sleeper after for a good night sleep. You're facing cricifixion if you get cot here with a can of beer that you may forgot in the fridge on you truck after a long weekend like the July 4th.
Darn it, I hate the government!Last edited: Jun 27, 2012

Back to the subject COE's. There are even large fleet companies that are using COE's, like Waggoners and Systems. I wonder, where they gonna find new COE trucks to replace their aging fleets? Waggoners had straight truck and trailer freghtliner argosy's with curtainside covered car hauler system. Systems are using long wheelbase COE tractors pulling flatbed trailers. Often see them loaded with long beams and poles.
Well, can't have COE's anymore cause nobody's building any overhere and can't import them either.
Nice, Ain't it?
