The real problem with cabovers? The American market wants Peterbilt styling. Long nose, long frame and so on. Yes there are a few drivers out there that might buy some. Yet Americans are "sticks in the mud". We resist change.

I would love a modern COE.Keep the 240" VNL 860 Volvo wheelbase and give us a true 100" factory sleeper with the space saved by going to the COE design. Talk about a recruiting tool. You could bring back the fresh water tank from the old VNL770 that had the running water sink. I believe International was the first to offer this back in the 1980s. This time you could have a full shower and toilet.

To me it is like this- cabover fixed up right look cool as ####. But, so does a nice stagecoach. Wouldn't want to have to ride either one all over the country.
