Drove one for 3 years back in the 90’s. I like them but since there has been absolutely no talent enter the industry in 20 years I prefer some iron in front of me those days…

Lol, it's sad that was offered at a premium. It sucks how much we put up with. We drive something that costs 4x as much as the car we drive, yet has half the options and comforts. It just seems like trucks are 20ish years behind cars. Heck, how long did it take to get power door locks! Not air BTW....electric as standard. I would say last 5 years or so?

BTW, I'd buy and drive that truck!
Edit: see the stair/ledge over the tire. It's a different experience getting in/out of these new ones.

Dad had the same one. 315 big cam 4. The guy that owned it before had a diff button in the pump. Ran like a raped ape but would only last 250-300k between rebuilds. No pyro or boost gauge, didn't know any better back then. The 2 guys my dad used to run with had a 400 cat and 444 and it would dust them.

I don't care what they do, there is no way a cabover, with you sitting right on top of the steer axle, are going to ride as good as a hood. Not to mention being first to the scene of a crash.

I don't know if they still run them but there used to be a lot of 57' dry vans running Tx, Nm, Co and OK. Maybe up into Kansas too.
