    I saw a guy with a KW100 and he said he would never part ways with it. I have a pic on myspace or photobucket.

    UA = Ukraine?

    Western Europe has an overall length limit of 16.5 meters, of which 13.6 is trailer, so there's not a lot of space left for the tractor.

    Truck/trailer combinations run at 18 meters, and some of those things have the sleeper on top of the cab. Woe betide you if you are overweight, trying to get through a tiny hole in the ceiling to go to bed.

    There is 20m lenth limit so we can operate US trucks with EU ore US 48' trailers.

    In Western Europe they do not measure lenth of trucks, but in Poland, Chech republic, Hungary...

    In some European contries B-Double ore second trailer with dolly are alowed.

    Freightliner Argosy, FLA and International 9800 and 9600 may easily be used in Europe but engine units must be calibrated to euro standards (E2 w/o EGR,E3/E4 with EGR, newer - E4 ore E5 with SCR)
    Sometimes 55 mph speed governor is required
    European lightning must be installed, like EU Pattern low beam headlamps, yellow tail dir. lights. Height limit is 4.05m so some companies use US trucks to work in EU, generally in Finland and North of Germany

    In Europe our length limit forces Them, thats why we have them, as for safety Swedish crash test is toughest in the world and modern coe's are very aerodynamic, a bonneted truck being more aerodynamic is a common misconception

    cabovers are pretty good aero wise because they only have one airbreak up front and it is clear sailing the rest of the way back.
