    You think .60 cents per mile is high? For a driver running 2500 miles a week , that comes out to $1,500 per week gross. Multiply that X 52 = $78,000.00 Annual Gross. Let me give you a bit of advice...good drivers already have jobs.

    Including workman's comp insurance, scales, tolls, internet and phone for a year, fuel, truck payment, all other insurances, plates, blah, $17K in maintenance and repairs, lets go for $0.87 mile Alex.

    The year before that with almost no M&R ( like $5K ) we'll go $0.72 Alex.

    We'll round the two years together and go $0.80.

    Good to see you’re another one of those muppets that works for free.

    @Dave_in_AZ a muppet? LOL

    Which Muppet? One of the Marley Bros from "It's a Muppet Christmas Carol". :)

    Btw, Dave ain't working for free! He's got a cat with a ferocious appetite to feed on the road

    Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

    You add those multiple trucks. And a yard, and office staff, and multiple trailers. Amortize all those costs over a year divided by your fleet mileage, then maybe we compare notes. Muppet.

    I don't think he's asking about a fleet cost. Just a truck.
