No pets allowed here. I think you'll find that policy at most food grade tanker companies since the customers don't like having pets on their property.

I’ve seen that. Seems like Indian River is the only one with a pet policy. Thank you for your response.

I delivered in Norfolk yesterday and deadheaded to Cedar Rapids to preload a trailer and drop it in Cedar Rapids this morning. I thought I would be rewarded with another good run out west, but instead I got a load going to Chambersburg, PA. So now I've picked up 2 loads today, the second of which I had to be live washed at the shipper, all for 864 miles. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that this was all they had available but I have a feeling they just gave me one load going west to shut me up temporarily.

Edit: I would like to clarify that it is possible to run loads west back to back. I once did it for a month straight before somebody decided they don't like me. So that's the only reason I'm skeptical.

Alright, everything actually went better than I expected. I may have overreacted when I saw my next load was going to Chambersburg because the last time they sent me there I had to go to Charlotte, NC afterwards and then take a load from there going to Chicago. Nightmare after nightmare lol. If they're gonna have to send me East I would at least like to get straight back out. Plus, delivering anywhere in Chicago... Well I don't think I need to elaborate.

This time, after empty in Chambersburg, I deadheaded to New Castle, DE to get a clean trailer and get loaded in Newark, DE going to Watertown, WI. Before I got to Chicago my dispatcher let me know they want me to drop the load in Janesville, WI at our terminal and someone else will deliver.

Shortly after that I got my next load info. Pickup in Cedar Rapids, IA going to Stockton, CA. Dropped in Janesville last night, headed towards cedar rapids in the morning. Picked up at 1300, headed out, and got as far as Lincoln. I have until 10am on the 22nd so it'll be plenty of time to make the delivery.

On an unrelated note, I got my paystub today and it looks like we're getting a $100 driver appreciation bonus. I forgot it's driver appreciation week. They had free Jersey Mike's subs in Janesville too, and I forgot to get one when I was there... Oops.

I delivered in Stockton last week and did some weird stuff after that. They had me start deadheading to Jerome, ID, then after a while told me to keep going but expect to meet a driver on the way and take his load back into California. It was a decent amount of miles with the deadhead so I didn't complain. I met the driver in Winnemucca, NV and delivered it in Visalia, CA (and it was a 1.5hr unload for a milk load too so that was nice, and unheard of). Then they told me to deadhead to Jerome. Picked up there going to Norfolk, NE again.

Got empty in Norfolk this morning, deadheaded to Le Mars, IA for a clean trailer, took it to Sioux City, and got loaded for Weiser, ID this afternoon. I couldn't be happier to go straight back west again. I wish Caledonia was always like this.

Nice man, any of you guys ever haul Tangerine? First time hauling it, I got this load from Visalia, California to Winter Garden, Florida and it has become my favorite LOAD!! Hardly ANY surge, and I mean any surge at all!! Especially when pull from a stop at a red light, no surge at all, it was crazy lol!! Now! It might be because of it being fully loaded ( 49,750lbs ) but, I'm hoping it's just the product and not the weight. Yeast is my most hated load, I know everytime I'm gonna have to go to a truck wash and wash it off cause you know how ugly yeast get when leaking if you've ever haul them. Frozen OJ was favorite before but but after doing this load, I'm in love with this product, I wouldn't might getting this load dedicated LMFAO!!!

I hauled tangerine and orange juice a lot at Indian River but never with this company. I also hate yeast though.
