Calex Express....My New Home!

No. Mort wanted me there today, but Sun is my wife's B-Day so I asked if I can come Tues, and he said he would make an exception for me. Then I have a wedding I have to be home for on Fri. Tough week to start but we both knew this.

 

Got my load info for Monday. Actually I got both loads preplanned. First one is the port in Jacksonville going to Spartanburg SC. The second one is a drop and hook in Greenville going to Mt. Top PA for Wednesday. Then onto the west coast.

Well ill be in pottsville Monday at 6am then ill be on my 34 the truck will be gng in for its inspection and either the thermostat or acturator for the boost pressure for turbo is gng out or the fuel pump or trannys gng out cause when I get gng its looking for more boost but it hic ups instead so will see what happens after I'm empty in pottsville

 

This is a very common occurrence at Calex. Once they see how you work,they will preplan you every chance they can. Sometimes I've been preplanned for a whole week and not have to speak to anyone in dispatch.

 

I'll probably see you in Pittston. I'll be there Wednesday morning. How's the little one doing?

 

Thats awesome. This is the first job I ever apllied to, got hired and went thru the process, and never actually talked to anyone about pay, benefits, vacation, holidays, raises, bonuse's, hometime, etcccc. Can anyone fill me in so I don't feel lost at orientation. I usually ask before I apply, but I was too excited to work for this co.

I'll be there Wednesday also. I won't be hard to find, and neither will you. More than likely you will be the only one in orientation. It's held right there in safety for all to see.
