Yep it was 2chefs...wasn't too bad for my first reefer/canada load ever. A bit brutal trucking in the rain the whole way up but eventually made it. Canada killed me a bit the signs are so small and only went by my map. Was finally able to grab a GPS tho. I'm actually on another 2 chefs load tonight as well but it loaded in jersy and goes up to rochester,ny and then to canada just north of Toronto in Cobourg. Only 7 skids so not too bad. As for truck xx220 is my assigned truck but now I'm in loaner xx221. Can't wait to get my other back it seems someone had a dog in this one and it wasn't cleaned at all I almost cant get into it right now. And btw do any of you guys know if the black boxes on our trucks are an ezpass only?...I'm wondering if itlll work for the canda tag tolls too where their marked no ezpass. Or do I have no choice but to lay out the tolls for canada...thanks in advance Anthony-

Couburg is EAST of Toronto off the 401, where did they have you cross into Ontario.

Last Thursday the wind was SO BAD the Skyway at St Catherines and Burlington were closed and the Queenston / Leweston bridge as well.

Indeed it looked a bit northeast to me so I said north. Also I crossed in friday and crossed back in saturday.. I believe it was the Peece br north of niagara falls. I took 90 to 190 to 290 got those directions from a fellow Calex driver at the yard before leaving...he was very helpful on that and showing me how to work the reefer a bit.

Hey John I asked Billy and also safety they sed they don't think these work here in Canada. You completly sure they work for the Canada tag lanes that are marked no ezpass?. Just wanted to doublecheck. Billy said he thinks it doesn't and we usually just get reinbursed. Let me know Thanks Anthony

I am wrong. I looked at my records and see that I paid cash for the tolls then got reimbursed.

Well I made it to Las Vegas and have started my reset. I got to our customer in Duryea at 3:30 Friday afternoon and was hooked and rolling by 4pm. I made it 450 miles which brought me to the last service plaza on the Oh Tpk. I planned on this so I would be able to do 3 days of hard driving in order to get here about 7pm Pittston time and get my reset in before I get empty on Wednesday.

I fought high winds all day Saturday but was able to drag my 11,000 pounds to Council Bluffs for my 10 hour break. I checked the weather going over Eisenhower and Vail and of course they were calling for up to 12 inches of snow Saturday night and Sunday so I decided to go across 80 to SLC and drop south on 15. I made it last night to Rawlins WY and went to bed. I woke up this morning with 710 miles to go and made it here with only 2 stops today. This was probably the easiest trip I've had in a long time. I now am able to relax and head the 500 miles to Salinas as soon as I get empty Wednesday.

Here is how I did it,

    Friday........450 miles
    Saturday....675 miles
    Sunday......685 miles
    Monday......710 miles

2520 miles and slept every night.

I left the house last Monday morning and here is what I've done since then.

Orlando Fl to Ocala Fl to Salisbury NC....................601 miles.
Salisbury NC to Cheraw SC to Mountain Top PA.......693 miles.
Mountain Top PA to Duryea PA to Las Vegas NV.....2520 miles.

3810 miles and 2 hours left on my clock. I'm looking forward to this reset.

    Hitman Thanks this.
