Thats brutal. Pa been gtting hit pretty hard lately with these crazy storms. Ive seen some bad rain and such around PA in the past years but these storms with twisters lately are getting pretty insane.

Wow that sucks not having enough time to get home with 32 miles to spare. I started off that day in Rochester, went to Buffalo and came back all the way to LI with about 1.5 driving left.

You delivering to the same place on Dell ave?...im guessing you are since we picked up at the same place. I thought they were open at 5am tho...did they tell you otherwise?..cuz im gonna be there pretty early if thats the case. After that i have to shoot to Hillsborough NJ and pick up for Rochester, NY and Cobourg, ONT...what fun...Not.

Great story and pics as always John. That truck sure is looking clean too. Do you know if thier looking for any more guys for the west coast runs or at least east of the rockies runs?..I kinda miss driving out west and those daily miles that you list are the type of thing i want to do most of the time.

Thanks. I'm sure they are. It's produce season and Louie is needing drivers he doesn't need to baby sit. Make sure you ask him when you speak to him.

Everything is good. Been pretty busy. I usually do 2 west coast turns and then go home for about 6 days. I really like the way Louie and Jason run me and I really like the company in general. I will admit that I am a little worn out trying to take care of that customer in Pottsville. 3.5 days to get there from Oxnard is very difficult to do legally and I got a very disrespectful tongue lashing from Mort on Tuesday. I wasnt expecting that because Mort is the one that I respected the most there. This last trip I had to have my delivery time moved from 5 pm Fri til noon on Saturday because I didnt get loaded til early tuesday morning in Watsonville, Ca. I am currently in Suwanee, Ga for a 7 am delivery then it is off to home for a while.

My upper bunk window on the drivers side leaks pretty good when it rains hard you reckon that it is part of the recall as well? Btw I will tell you why I removed my posts when I see you. I dont feel like discussing it here.

I'm quite sure it is. It seems most of the newer trucks leak there. You have my number, give a call so we can shoot the breeze. The last time we spoke I missed the exit in Joplin to meet you.

Well I'm glad things are working out for you. Jason and Louie, even though they are completely opposite in their approach, are great to work with. Enjoy your hometime.

Speaking of Joplin, the Flying J were we were to meet is virtually non existent now. I passed by there on Thursday and the main building is still standing somewhat but the fuel islands are gone as is the Speedco and the beacon is heavily damaged.
