    Be safe going home. Sorry about lunch yesterday, just as I texted you to meet me at the Petro Louie called to tell me my load was ready. I was going to finish my 10 hour break and run all night but instead I got my load and still had 7.5 hours of driving left so off I went.

    I'm now sitting south of Jacksonville Florida. My wife will be in Orlando tonight then pick me up at one of our customers early in the morning, then I'll spend Saturday and Sunday with her and the grandbaby visiting Mickey's house, then get my 2 drops off Monday and Tuesday.

    Well it's deja vu all over again for me. I'm stuck here in Jarratt VA waiting for a load that won't be ready until tomorrow morning. I should have known this was going to happen since it's happened before. Any other night it's ready by 6:00 PM, but since it's Friday, and the load doesn't deliver until Monday, they feel that they don't have to load it in a timely manner. To me this a total disrespect to the drivers that haul their loads. I guess that our time and our families are irrelevant and unimportant to them. It's just a good thing I just got off of hometime because if I had been out for awhile, I'd be quite livid right now instead of just moderately angry.

    Yup. It's a shame really because if it was set up somewhat differenly, it could actually be a decent run. I'm just glad it's only for a few days. There's no way I could do it on a full time basis.
