There are times when I truly dislike this industry, and right now this is one of those times. I left the Love's in Tulare yesterday morning after a 14 hour break. I drove the 21 miles to my first pick and was loaded and done in 20 minutes. Then I drove the 15 miles to my next pick up and that's when I hit the brick wall. Exactly 24 hours later and I finally get to the dock. I still have to go the 180 miles down to Ventura for my final pick up. Without going into a long protracted rant, all I will say is this, as far as I'm concerned Sunkist Oranges can take every last one of there packing houses and there corporate offices and send all those jobs overseas. What a total useless company that is. Another thing that has fried my ### end is the buyer on the other end is more worried about getting the load to PA when originally scheduled then getting the truck loaded. I'm done ranting, time to go back to work. See you all later!

That bishop bear has been around more lately. I was surprised when I saw him out there doing inspections on a recent sunday.

Well all I can say was that I was due for an inspection, it's been years since I had one. I guess if I had a choice Bishop would be at the top of my list.

I'm finally loaded. I got done in Ventura at 4pm local time. After scaling out and seeing I was grossing 79980 with a quarter tank of fuel I decided to run with it. I went up over the Grapevine and stopped in Wheeler Ridge for fuel and a shower. I decided to go the extra 80 miles this way then fight the LA traffic at 5pm from Ventura to Barstow. After sliding my fifth wheel up 2 notches and sliding my trailer back 4 holes I'm now grossing 80,160 with just a little over a quarter tank. Lucky me, I get to play the fuel game the next 4 days. I got my weights perfect, 12,200 on my steer, 33,980 on my drives and 33,980 on my trailer. I'm beat. I'll be up and rolling and 6am local time. Good night all.
