Happy Birthday to ya SC, David right? Well ya'll its been a rough 1st week for miles, but can't complain to much I guess 2700 miles in 8 days. Took my restart in GA and still have 40 hrs left for this week. Think I developed a southern accent while down there. O and I'm gonna give a shout out to my 3 fav guys in the safety dept
SCtrucker55 Thanks this. -

Well, from my understanding they give you 5 days to get there. You can get there in 4, legally, on elogs. The company requires a reset before loading back to Pa. You can either get your reset in before you deliver if you get out there in time, or you will do a reset after you deliver. I know that might sound odd but you cant do a turn legally on elogs, so it makes sense. On top of the 5,200+ miles minimum on a turn, they can have some significant DH miles too. Everything coming back is produce from SoCal and AZ, so if they deliver to Seattle for instance, they have 1,000 miles DH to Bakersfield, Ca.
Again, this is just my understanding. I havent started yet. This is just what ive learned by reading, and speaking to JohnBoy. -
Hey Roadcall, for now I am on northeast regional, which they say might still go as far south as carolinas. I made it to GA last weekend cause I told them I wanted to stay out for 1st weekend. So who have u been driving for? Hope to see u soon.

Hey cowman, ive been local the last 5 yrs, but spent 14 yrs before that OTR. Unfortunately ive worked for a several compaies in my time. A few went out of business while I was there, I think Im a hex, lol. I drove for R&D Trucking for 2 yrs before they closed the doors, also worked 3 yrs for Southland Express till they called it quits too. My last OTR gig was for an O/O, drove 1 yr before he had enough. Spent 2 yrs at USX, when they actually had decent miles for solos. Worked for J-Mar for 2 yrs before they were bought out by Western Express, didnt last long after Western took over. I started with FFE in 1992 and drove 2 yrs there too. Ive been around, lol.
Looking forward to going back OTR, see you in Pittston.
