I've enjoyed following this thread John. I'd love to get on with Calex, but the fact that I've been running tri-axles the last three years, and prior to that job hopped a bit, would probably disqualify me. Anyway, please keep posting as I enjoy reading your posts.

Well I'm home. Got here last night around 10pm. I have to deliver Monday at 2pm in Orlando. Let me tell you about my new truck, actually it's just one word.....WOW!!!! It's just like my old girl except for a few minor changes, like 271k on the clock instead of 875k. It has an APU, more storage and rides like a dream. I must say, this truck has all the touches of a woman. Every part of this truck is spotless, non-smokers, and just as clean and rattle free as a brand new one. I just want to say thanks to the husband/wife team that had this truck before me. I spoke to Mort before I left Thursday, they gave me the OK to take my truck home for my vacation next month. That will allow me to get home the Thursday before our cruise and to leave the Monday after we get back with a load and not have to worry about flying in and out of Scranton. I think that's a real nice gesture on Calex's part.

Oooohh, a cruise, my wife and I actually just got back from ours yesterday, sailed to half moon cay and nassau, what a way to relax for 5 days, but as with everything all good things must come to an end and I returned to work today opting to save 1 vacation day for later on down the road. Where's the wife and you headed to? Wherever it may be have an awesome time and eat like it's going out of style, god knows they're not going to stop you from doing that, that's half the allure to going on a cruise

Johnboy, glad to hear you got into a new truck. It sounds like your last West coast trip was pretty eventful. Blowing a steer tire is one of those things I hope I never have to deal with. If it happens I just hope im on flat land and not coming around a curve at the time. Enjoy your vacation, my wife and I have been on three cruises over the years, and my opinion its the best bang for the buck as far as vacations are concerned.
JohnBoy Thanks this.
