California CARB smog check software

Long as you don’t have a check engine light on, what will those tools/software benefit?

If your registration expired 12/31/24, and you enrolled in the clean truck check site, you have until 06/30/25 to do the first test. And the second one by 12/31/25.

 

This has changed I just unregistered my truck since my wife and I no longer team. They now have a schedule that goes off the last number of your vin, mine is a 9 and the testing for mine was due by 1/31/25.

 

Seems to me the trucking industry is much larger than CARB, how did it just bend over for them? The argument goes well California is too big a market not to service, should have let them starve, as we have seen for years now, they don't even care about their own residents.
