I just got done running a dedicated Cali route the past 2 years, I love the weather and the women but it's not a big money maker as a company driver because of all the slow downs. Lot of times you feel like a city driver making mileage pay![]()

Luckily for me, I ran a lot of northern Cal and not a whole lot of L.A. But it's a huge state with a ####ty speed limit and lots of other factors to slow you down as well

Some say LA is worse then NYC .I've always thought the opposite.I use to go to LA once a week,thats where one of my terminals was located.

It can take 2.5 hours to get from west to east LA. And traffic can happen 24/7. Drivers are pretty aggressive as are the local truck drivers. Take the 210 when possible.CluelessRoadie Thanks this.
