This is actually true. Police all over the country and closing cold case files, citing non-def trucks as the cause of death.

honestly I dont even know how California and Carb can get away with these rules and laws they come up with. And forcing outside carriers to comply with absurd regulations just to haul in the state. I agree with many other people, let the mega carriers have it. Freight rates out of Cali are crap to begin with

No, disagree with me all you want. I am open to all points as long as they make sense. The ones that dont make sense are the ones who should abide by the mantra, "Silence is golden."

No, of course not. And both the polar ice caps aren’t melting either. Impossible.
Plus, we’re all going to live forever as well.

1816, also known as the year with no summer. Do a web search.

1936 heat wave. Again, do a search...

The changes are not radical or new, it's always been happening. It's just that our perception of the climate is limited to our lifetime experiences. Most major climactic changes on this planet can be attributed to either volcanic eruptions or meteoroids.

That being said, I vividly remember the smell of uncatalyzed exhaust when we'd go on road trips in the seventies. The smell of lawnmower exhaust today brings back those memories.

I also remember the brown air in LA even in 1991. It struck me as funny, driving by a gym where I could see people exercising and walking on treadmills inside, thinking, "What's the use? They're gonna die of lung cancer in a few years anyway."

I'm all for cleaning up vehicle exhaust emissions but I really don't think it's contributing a significant amount to changes in our climate.

Ive got a picture I need to scan. Go back about oh... 45 years of my life in one of our christmas gatherings. Smoke down to here above the floor. 50 people puffing everything.

Its a wonder Im still here. Especially after growing up in a home with lead paint, wiring that does not meet code, shotgun fuses that needs 15 seconds to "Feel" a short and so on.

There was one problem that got me every time. A weed burning mack from the early 60's that has not warmed up yet and leaves all of us surrounded in blue cloud from the inversion layer down to the ground. To this day I don't deal with weed burners.

Both polar ice caps have been melted before. Several times.
