It wasn't so bad in 1979 when they still didn't use radar. Those CHP boys earned their speeding tickets in those days. Anyone who got caught wasn't paying attention.

But make no mistake they were good at what they did. You could pass them setting in the medium and if you didn't slow down they would be on your tail and have you clocked before you knew what had happened.

I know exactly what you are saying. My Uncle opened the Victorville CHP office way back in the early 50's if not late 40's. He would drive his personal vehicle very slow but put him in a chase on duty and he could do 135 easy.

There was one strip of road that had radar when no other roads did and that was highway 126 by Filmore and Santa Paula. I know I got a ticket there and went to court only to find out the officer had been killed in a head on traveling that very same road a few days after he stopped me. It was sad.

Feel free to ask in a relevant thread. Be prepared to defend your beliefs without the book of fables. Works of fiction are inadmissable to a logical debate.

Further ware the rabbit hole will lead to uncomfortable realms where there is no omnipotent protection from life and death via anyone but you.

I am all the higher power and authority I require be prepared to find out that fact for yourself before embarking into the defense of your faith.

I understand you offer no excuse. I have seen several including the OP use the false claims to make those excuses. Yes on some I agree with you. Very few agree with me consistently. A good portion of those are four legged and far smarter to the truth of living than many humans I interact with but that is for another discussion.

Feel however you wish about my knowledge it costs me nothing. However I would recommend using any such energy seeking some answers for yourself or not. If for no other reason I have a fair portion of an entire Catholic Diocese doing that already. The basis for my knowledge stems from years of indoctrination into the disorder that is organized religion.

Here I am thinking you was just a little "out there". You have proved me to be completely wrong....burnt up would aptly describe you. Pink floyd put it best in a song about their friend syd barret...."you reached for the secret too soon" (shine on you crazy diamond). Unfortunately like syd I'm not sure you are going to make it back to reality.

Actually in 2002 when they changed the way states report to your home state which then a lot of states did not report to a home state. I had a ton of them come from Ohio and Georgia! That was after I got suspended for having 3- 15MPH+ in a 3 year time! I got the first level offense of just those 3! That was ONLY a 90 day suspension! The 2nd offense will be 120 days and #3 will be 1 year! I'll keep it at the 90 day lever as that freaking hurt!

When they changed it! They added to that a rule that no state could defer a ticket or violation with school either on line or in class. That s the Federal law!

But get a lawyer! No matter which state or MOVING violation! Over weights ond others I wouldn't worry if the company pays it. NOT says they will! Keep track of any ticket or fine that the company says they will pay or the infamous words "Don't worry about it!" Those 4 words rank up there with:

    "The checks in the mail"
    I'm sterile"
I won't "do it in your mouth"
You can't get pregnant the first time
    and
    I'll pull it out!

    got it?
Lawyer up! Yes it will cost more but if you have to make time to go to a stupid CA court you might as well cut your wrists!
    Lawyer up!
IF you are offered a school that will remove something from the record by a state and knowing it's not possible or legal due to Federal law what can it hurt as long as you have all the paper work and paper trails back to those who told you it's ok!!!

But still LAWYER UP! Get it done out of your own wallet THEN give the company the bill if they told you to "go with it" or they'll pay for it!

YOU get it done and you KNOW it's been taken care of! Keep the paper work as proof and send copies to the company for them to pay you if again they said they would!BUT never trust even God in a company suit when he says don't worry about it!

Getting stopped in Bum F Egypt and sitting next to Otis in some jail cell because it WASN'T taken care of a year later is nothing but your fault!
it's called CYA! Do it! CYA!

Are you sure you weren't clocked MORE than 60 and he wrote the ticket for that ? Usually, you can run 60 all day long in Ca. and they won't bother you.
