I dunno, maybe being a bad shot..??
I still think the trucker would have gotten 1000% away with it had he squashed his car into the wall, and they found the gun and the bullet hole.

What a bizarre story.
Guy should have done at least 10 years.
The bullet missed the drivers head by a matter of inches. -
G.Anthony Thanks this.

As I understand it, he was filming a guy once and the driver thought he was about to be hijacked, so he took evasive action. At that point nitwit decided to shoot at him.HorseShoe Thanks this. -
Thats it! I searched and searched!!
-
Once his name came out at the trial though, I realized it wasn't who I thought. -
I always remembered him timing the distance. "Start stop" real fast. And that he liked to pick on JB Hunt
-
He may have demanded money then but now a day's a lot of companies hire out for it. Sounds as though the driver took matters a little to far, vigilante style, members 1.. No further comment -
Well, JB Hunt trucks are fairly ubiquitous. That makes them the easiest target.
I've seen my company in some of his "handiwork", while wondering what exactly this fool does for a living. -
John Volpe (the shooter) may not be the same guy in the videos that mack linked. John Volpe, use to have his GPS mounted on the upper right hand corner of he windshield that he'd point to with is camera to show the speeds of the trucks.
Whoever the guy is in the videos mack linked us to, it may be someone different.Last edited: Jul 4, 2015
