I always do some digging to verify part numbers before ordering anything off the internet.

 

I clicked on the link because the Callahan name made me laugh. The story made me laugh more. I still buy my parts local when I can. If there is an independent store near, even better. Unless I am buying a brand I know, I will not but online. Wrong part, fitment, defects, all cost time. If you buy from a local store you get better service when you have issues. Please save your stories about that's not true if you yourself deal with Auto Zone or Advanced. Those aren't real parts stores.

I personally hate buying local. All the punks at the parts houses don’t know squat and the big chains are selling overpriced garbage.

I only buy what I want for my personal vehicles from Rock Auto. Never an issue.
