    True story , went to AutoZone asked the guy behind the counter for 7 foot of 1/2 inch heater hose, he brought out a package with 6 foot in it,and....a 1 foot piece of 1/2 inch hose!!!! I just shook my head and took the 6 foot.

    Took an alternator out of a old motor home to Auto Zone to get tested. Said it was bad but they didn't have one. Took it to a local Alternator shop to see if I could get it fixed. He told me the alternator was fine, that Auto Zone equipment isn't set up to test this type of alternator and their guys are not trained right anyway. Told me that this alternator uses an external voltage regulator and to check that.
