I also have a mini pin. She rides part time.I love having her, but it also carries conditions, and sometimes is simply a pain.We have some customers that don't allow pets, but if teaming not as big deal as a solo.Partner might have to take him for a walk of property while you load.
I second this....prob going to send my wife there in the fall maybe ...I hear nothing but good out of there...think Conway pays part and it includes lodging and three meals a day...that sounds a lot better than road master for 6k
Drumright, OK (Central Tech) is also a viable option that my wife and I decided on. Plus no boot camp required. We both driver for Conway plus they will pay 1/2 in tuition assistance. You go 7500-10000 miles with separate trainers. Then test out. Miles are great you do not sit very much at all. Mostly drop and hook, very little bumping docks. They run their teams hard, which is good.
Sorry I have not been on in a while, $2500 in state, $5000 out. The school said to just tranfer our DL to OK to get in-state tution for the cost savings here is the website. http://www.tdt-ok.com/
Double check that "no boot camp". I am pretty sure all student drivers go to boot camp unless they come out of a Crowder or whatever the approved school is in Detroit. Boot camp is no big deal though and lodging is paid and a per diem for meals. The purpose is to standardize all students to a level before putting them in a truck with a finisher.
I could be wrong but when we started last April Keturah/Recuriting (Sorry if spelled wrong) said Drumright was included in that list.
My wife and I both have our CDLS and some experience (a bit dated). I would love to team for Conway, however, unfortunately, they do not hire in Oregon...(
