That looks like a Memphis pd code. Did they do a inspection or just write the ticket and roll out?Siinman Thanks this.

talked to me, talked to her wrote me a ticket rode out.

Total bull..I would fight it.
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
I guess I'm the only turd in the punch bowl, but what I'm seeing is that you were in the right hand lane and tried to to slide into the left, and you got hit.
I'm sorry for your troubles, and the other driver could have been more courteous, but nevertheless, she had the lane and the right of way.
Again, I'm sorry for your troubles. But I would have given you a ticket as well.Snailexpress, Dave_in_AZ, Bean Jr. and 3 others Thank this. -
i would agree but her trailer was in my lane on the turn. Watch how wide the truck in front of her is taking the lane then watch how close her trailer is to my lane.Keepforgettingmypassword and Old_n_gray Thank this.

Just watched it again. Why did you slide left right before she hit you?

Got to ask if it was a pd or the Highway Patrol? Either I would have given the other truck the works. Shouldn’t have to but I think you can easily beat it in court. I would be sure to make sure it’s a jury trial.
Keepforgettingmypassword, drvrtech77 and Siinman Thank this. -
Trying to keep truck in my lane, I was still in my lane and give me enough space to avoid the accident in front of me when I could change lane, because of an accident on my lane at the end of the turn about 100 ft upblairandgretchen Thanks this.

But you were clearly departing your lane.
Had you maintained your lane and she hit you, it would be a different kettle of fish.
Were you trying to avoid the breakdown on the right?
Looks like the driver in front of you was trying to do the same thing.
It sucks and she could have been more courteous and decent.
But again, what the cop saw is what I saw. You left your lane and she hit you. And if memory serves, you were over the line.....ie, in her lane.
Sorry, man.Bean Jr., PSM379, Old_n_gray and 3 others Thank this.
