Man, that's one company that simply builds up my blood pressure. They always paid their money when I used them. I only used them on their emergency loads where I locked in everything I needed. But 30-40 calls a day of their cheap ### crap, lies, and their questioning why I need so much money, their rudeness when they can't get a truck, their neglect of responsibilities, the horror stories from some carriers. In my mind I just see a vulture trying to make a quick buck with 0 investment 0 risk 0 equipment. One time lied to me about a delivery. Called for check calls, nonstop. Ok. I call them to tell them I'll be stuck at a reciever for a long time and need detention, I couldn't get a hold of anyone. Suddenly everyone is at a meeting except a random person calling to check on me that doesn't have a clue about anything. Simply put just their voice and the "tql" sound and that Ohio number makes my blood rush. Guys leased to me are welcome to book their own TQL loads.. But they know that if something isn't paid or a problem not to bother me-- its on their own risk. Signed on the contract with me. I'm thankful I haven't been drunk at a bar and met a guy that said "I work for TQL".. I feel blessed I don't see a car that has a TQL sticker on it. Who knows what might happen.

You know, I really don't like it when corporate shills come on here posing like someone satisfied with the company being discussed. Your IP address shows in fact, you are from TQL. Shame on you.

I concur. I was dumbfounded last time I booked a load with them. Did all paperwork, lined up the truck, got him dispatched and left out to run errands and they called back to cancel. I flipped. How the hell do you run a business like that? Screwing people over isn't how I've gotten to where I am today.

Look up tql's feedback on any load board. 90% are pissed and I mean pissed off people. And then there are the last 10% of company paid trolls that shower them with compliments.
I know I will never post easy identifiable flatbed $$$ load again after I was PMd by TQL themselves after I blew off some steam about them on here.
Don't kid yourself they are watching. Loose lips sink ships.

Ok so I've been scrolling through alot of post trying to get an idea of where the good brokers are hiding. All the loads I see posted on the boards, that I have called on or the rate was posted, seem to be pretty much at the same rate, except them brokers that post 600.00 for over a 1000 mile runs smh. Now I just started my 1 truck company back in August 2015, I run a reefer, I go where I can get the most pay to and from for the shortest distance. But really the loads all the brokers on the boards seem to be paying out the same. Like I'll see a load from Kennewick, wa to southern cal. Most the brokers start with some 1500.00 number others a Lil more. (Mostly dry loads by the way), I know the loads are paying way more so I'll tell a broker a way high number but fair, they give you the ol song and dance about that's more then what the load is paying and I say it's snowing and I have 10 kids lol, and for the most part we meet somewhere on the rate around 2100.00 a good day 2250.00. Now I know that must still be a bad rate but what choice do I have if I want to at least keep the bills paid. I deal with TQL, some days I get a sun is shinning in my favor load. And others I'm held up for 6 hours at a shipper and I'm fighting for detention pay. I want to make it out as much as anyone before or after me wants to make it. I hear talk of don't run cheap freight but if that is running cheap how else am I to pay these bills. I worked around 16 days plus or minus last month and grossed over 12,000.00 in pay. Now I'm am new, and I don't claim to know what the whole world is all about. But I spent Christmas week home with my family (and I really only have 1 son lol). And what I grossed seemed to be heading in the right direction. Now I have some brokers that I have hauled for that pay really good but most of the time their freight is where I am not. For a new business owner, I'd like to get the help from the old timers out there with more knowledge, just like they used to give newbies back when my mom started driving and like my grandfather passed on, god bless their souls. But now a days it seems everyone is all about what you got for me and not let's help our fellow brothers and sisters out. Bash this and that person. No wonder the radios stay silent...lol. sorry for my going ons, just bored sitting in washington waiting on that good load.
