Cam Shaft Gear Stuck

    In my DT570 engine I tried to remove the camshaft gear to replace the rear half front cover. I used a puller many times but the puller always slip from the two holes. Is there any way to remove this gear?
    If not and I have to remove the camshaft assembly is there any parts that should be dismantled to do this?

    Its a special puller. If your puller keeps slipping out, it is worn out. You can remove the whole cam, but the head and valve train has to come off first.
