Autoguard has all the GPS settings that Dailyroads does, you have to go in and turn them on. It also has the map for it as well. As far as compression, if you want a quality video where you can make out faces, and license plates, you are gonna have a large file. My videos are set for 10 minutes of recording time each, thats at 1920x1080 full hd, I have a 32GB storage card I save the files too, I have it set to 20GB storage, once its full it erases the oldest first. My Videos are usually at around 800MB each. So considering I am able to record about 4 hours straight of total video. If it takes you 30 minutes to get a 10minute video off your tablet, then no offense but whatever medium you are using (laptop) is garbage. If your laptop isnt using USB 2.0 or better ports your laptop needs updated.

the larger the file. the longer the upload. my laptop isn't garbage. it's usb 3.0. so is the phone.
i have very good quality video at the 640 X 480. it takes up the full screen. shows very great detail. my videos are 15 minutes and peg at 400 megs.
no offense, but why use more then you need????? i tested that HD setting. and it's overkill in the file size department.
i have 1 gig set for the sdcard. it records and maintains 2 vids. if i want to keep a certain scene. i can hit the retain button. it maintains the vid and starts a fresh new vid. -
My file size is set for videos I want to upload for my own personal page, but its main purpose is to keep my ### covered so if someone pulls out in front of me, I got their ### handed.
In the end, if you dont want to deal with file sizes, just get a dash cam like the one from DieselBoss -
your not telling me anything i haven't already known for years.
you do what works for you and i'll do what works for me. with less space and just as good quality. i see no reason to overkill my file size. -
Less space is great, however if your tablet has an expandable storage drive for an SD or micro SD card, then quite frankly your argument is void as SD cards and Micro SD cards are priced to the point where its almost retarded/pointless to have less then a 32GB card. I paid $20 for my 32GB class 10 card at walmart. I have 10GB of music on it, 2 games that take up 1.3gb and 20GB of storage for videos.
In the end do what you want, but dont be like so many people and sacrifice quality just to save some cash. -
