I really hate this idea that anyone realistically thinks McDonald's employees make more than truck drivers.
No they can't make more money flipping burgers for McDonald's working possibly 30 hours a week.
What they can do working at McDonald's is be home every day and continue to smoke weed, while they cry about not having enough opportunities in life to make more money.
But make more money than a company driver? Gtfo here with that nonsense.

In closing, I will just say that there should never be a driver-facing cam without a sync'd forward facing cam, where they both recorded simultaneously and placed the 2 captures onto a single clip (whenever they did record) At least that way, there would be equal proof and justification for many issues

When driver cameras are law to be in trucks I will retire and work for McDonalds!

Watch.....Road*Runner, DrayDay, roadmap65 and 2 others Thank this. -
How about this. Your driving record and CSA score should determine if you have a camera in your truck. That sounds fair. If you can't drive right you shouldn't be on the road anyway!
DrayDay, TheJrodTest and superflow Thank this. -

Imagine that guys...
Not only can they jip you out of your $
Now they can put more heat on the drivers,
... Called into safety office twice a month and written up on "not looking in your mirrors every 9 seconds"
....we cannot afford to let this idea " fly"
OTR drivers are on the job 24/7
" this is their living courters "
They deserve privacy the most!
As for us city drivers, eh!!

I made just as much standing and watching an injection molding press as I did my first couple of years driving, with a heck of a lot less stress! I use McDonald's (erroneously) as an example of the typical minimum wage job, since there are a lot pf people in MY area who do indeed work in fast food full time (40 hr. weeks). I now realize that is not the norm in the rest of the country, my apologies.
Sheeesh!
