    What is next?

Perhaps a way to monitor your thoughts....

perhaps they do a study and determine you are a safer driver if you are left handed and force everyone to become left handed...

the more freedoms you surrender in the name of safety the less free we become...

the cameras are not installed to protect the driver...only to blame the driver..

only fools allow themselves to be shackled and say they dont mind it...

You didn't practice safe driving until you received your cattle prod. Without your cattle prod, you are a danger on the road.

This, people, is what's wrong with the trucking industry. Drivers feel they have to take abuse, justify abusive behavior, and even admonish it to others as a way of life. That's like a woman with a black eye telling everyone that getting beat up makes her a better woman because the black eye makes it easer for her to be submissive.

No, you don't have to. You choose to.

    Thanks!

I'm certain carriers reserve the right to equip their trucks however they please. Where exactly would you say I veered off the path of relevance...?

Lighten up, Francis, you don't know that. Whatever makes a better driver makes a better driver.

There ain't too many posts around here where a driver admits they learned ANYthing about "driving", or describes holding themselves to any higher standard than the typical motorist.

Driving habits are hard to change, that's why the typical truck is operated little to no differently than the typical 4-wheeler, and when it is different ~half the time it's worse.
