So I'm new here. I apologize if this question has been asked before but do all trucking companies have an interior camera facing you at all times recording?

That's a good question to ask when you start looking for a company to drive for.
Ask on this forum, not a recruiter. The drivers on here will tell it to you straight.

No and I wouldn't drive for a company that did.

I got written up once because i hung one of those weeb bobble boob toys infront of the interior cam after the owner promised he wouldnt install inwards facing cams....then did. Got written up again for taping a picture of a middle finger up blocking it.

Quit the company after the second write up. I hate having a cam on me at all times. Bad enough you all but shove a gps tracker up my ###.

AModelCat, AriGab and TripleSix Thank this.

So I am about to get my CDL and the company/school I'm going through that I have to work for 2 years afterwards for has cameras inside facing you recording the whole time. They say that they only look at them if something happens but seems a little invasive to me.

    Very, very few do.
A fair few starter companies do have an inward facing camera that records when triggered though. Not all mind you, but enough.

    AriGab Thanks this.

Are they the only option to work for where you're located? Also why a 2 year commitment most are 1 year.

    AriGab Thanks this.
