    For a base or mobile? My friend slipped an A-99 antenna into some PVC pipe, and made a "flagpole"!!! ;)

    That's a clever idea. I know people have been using wire dipoles inside of a pvc flagpole for years to get around the neighborhood restrictions. I never thought about stuffing a commercial antenna inside of one.

    The camouflage paint would be the easiest way to go, just don't forget to tune the reactance out of those paint flakes.... LOL.
