Their wife's are subsidizing their cost of ownership for their trucks to do the job that pays too little but just enough to pay the bills.

Am I right or am I wrong?

Or they are retired an all they need to survive are packs of smokes lol

    KriegHund and 123456 Thank this.

Not retired. If I had to live off my wife's earnings then we could not even afford to pay anything. She does not make that much.

But, you have your opinion and it shows.

My truck is paid for, my wife doesn't work and I can't collect social security for another 13 years. I'm keeping the bills paid, have a nice emergency fund and I'm fully funding my IRA.

Dodge277 and Dye Guardian Thank this.

Questions get asked and answers need to be posted. I hold no ones feet to the fire if hey want to get into his type of work, (I also don’t ask posters to “PM” me so they get the truth- not to mention a referral bonus for you if they sign on with your companey). It does not take long for anyone in this type of work to become an “expert” at it. This type of work is not rocket science. If any driver is hurt by my comments - sorry.

You have engaged me in several post in the past. All I have done was to present a different position on the industry and how it works. It’s true I’m a “fair weather” driver - there is no need for me to drive all year round. My suggestions and conversations should be taken in that manner.

Loyd - please learn to use the “period” key when you post. I have no idea where one thought begins and a new one starts.
