Go to your county/city court. Look up the brokers registered agent in the state they are headquartered in. Find it by doing a state corpration search for the registar againt, call the state corporation commission if you need help. Write down the name and address of the registar againt on File for that broker's corpration. Then File a complaint/summons for Civil court in small claims under that name and address. $60.

Whatever amour is owned to you add at least 2 days of what you think is reasonable amount of lost work for court appearance, maybe $500-$1000 puntive damages, compenstory damages.

Bet the broker will settle before 1st apperance.

p.s. Federal Court called yesterday and said my motion for summary judgment in sueing a debt collector was scheduled $3500

You can look up the registar againt by doing a Google search for the corporate business directory.

And if something falls through with sueing the broker, you can go after the shipper, or receiver but first send a demand letter for full payment on the failure of payment by the broker before going after shipper or receiver.

No he hasn't. He might stick up for the good agents against bs claims by drivers, but he also recognizes they got some bad ones. No different than any other agent based carrier. He is similar to how I am with Mercer. Will call out bs claims by drivers but recognizes they aren't perfect. Just no need to make up stuff to complain about when there is plenty of things that could be improved.
